Sheeesh!
I received a threatening letter the other day from the Grousehouse Media Corp (or something like that) informing me that my site would be shut down soon due to prolonged inactivity…and since he’s my big brother and I know he’s serious…
Did my first “greeter gig” last Sunday. I was partnered with Judy. At God’s banquet table, amongst our brothers and sisters and the fine china and stemware, Judy is a crazy straw. The nice thing about greeting along side her for 40 minutes (yes, FORTY minutes… have to help those darn stragglers find seats!) is that I came to find out that she isn’t nearly as kooky in person as she is during service. Maybe she just gets so overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit she just can’t control herself. Who knows. Anyway, it was nice to get to know her normal side. Makes her antics easier to deal with. Funny how God works. Of all the greeters, He pairs me with the one I needed to show the most grace to. Ya gotta love Him.
It’s really late. Keegan’s been sick the last few days so he’s been waking in the night a lot with a cough. My nephew, Jacob, turns 1 year-old tomorrow and there’s a party in the afternoon so I should probably grab some sleep while I can. I promise I’ll write again soon. Night all.
