“So here’s the thing…

A “Twip”

Anyone remember what that was back in the 80’s? I’m trying to prove Jason wrong.

  1. Deb:

I don’t remember that, sorry. What is it?

  2. J'me:

Ask Jay. He used to hurt me with them. lol

  3. Deb:

Before I read what you wrote I asked Jay and at first he said he didn’t remember and then all of a sudden he goes, “OH YEAH..that’s where you flick someone with your fingers.” So, if my assumption of your comment is correct then Jay is right???

  4. J'me:

Yes, but a particularly painful sort of flicking. “Little sisters of the world unite!” (Get him in his sleep once for me, Deb.) LOL

  5. Jason:

You can’t prove me wrong, I know that it was called a “twip”, but only dorks used that term. :-p

As a big brother it is my solemn duty to not only know the name (including regional dialect variations, i.e. “yang” vs “gleek”) of every annoying, gross and/or moderately painful (yet relatively harmless to the younger sibling) maneuver, but to also be well versed in its execution…but still…only dorks actually vocalize the term “twip”.

    Dork. ;-)

  6. Deb:

I agree with Jason. This morning after reading J’mes order to get Jay in his sleep I walked over to execute the move and he said, “Don’t twip me.” What a dork.

PS: I can’t do it in his sleep…he has a bat under his side of the bed and he’ll come up swinging! That would be bad for my head. LOL

As a “little sister stand in for J’me” I will have to find some other way to be particularly annoying…a feat at which I am a master.
